Book a trek direct with a local agency
Published 7 October 2026
Most travel platforms take a cut of the price. We take none. Here is what that changes, concretely, for you and for the valley.
Where the money goes
- You pay the local agency, directly. Never the platform.
- The listed price is the price agreed with them. Nothing is added along the way.
- No commission comes out of the amount: not at booking, not after the trek.
A commission never disappears. Either it inflates your price or it shaves the muleteer's pay. There is no third option.
What TIZI does — and doesn't
What we do
- We check every agency before publishing it: licence, own employed guides, signed code of conduct, civil liability cover.
- We route a general enquiry to the agency best suited to it.
- We remove an agency that breaks its commitments.
What we don't
- We don't take your payment.
- We don't resell your trip under another name.
- We don't rank agencies by what they pay us — they pay us nothing.
So how is quality held?
At the entrance, not through the commission. Seven criteria checked before listing, a signed code of conduct, and immediate removal if a commitment lapses. The detail: how we select.
What it changes for you
- You talk to the person who actually runs the trek, from the first message.
- The quote, the dates and the payment are settled with them, not with a middleman.
- When weather changes the plan, you call someone who decides — not a support desk.
The three steps: how it works. The model in full: 0% commission.
The routes: all treks.
